Today was Bret's birthday, so it was a very big day for both the Pink and the Blue Babies! When we brought Bret home, Serena was still asleep...in Grandma's arms in the rocking chair! It was 7:45, so Jordan woke Serena up and told her we had a baby brother for her. I came in with Bret and switched places with Grandma so Serena could sit on my lap and see her baby brother. She stared at him for quite a while and we all chatted about the events of the last 6.5 hours. After a while, Serena started to wake up a little more and she would reach out her hand and pat Bret ever so gently and 'say' something about him in her baby language. It was really sweet! She spent the day playing and having lots of fun with Grandma & Aunt Anna and occasionally checked on Bret. So far she seems to like him! :)

Serena touched Bret's hand, and he immediately grasped her finger! She loved it! When he let go, she reached to get him to do it again!
