This afternoon, Serena woke up pretty early from her nap. Even though we had already spent most of the morning walking and playing at the playground, I thought we'd go for another walk to pass the time this afternoon. Serena thought that was a great idea...except not how I was planning it!! As soon as I had Bret strapped on with the Moby and we were about to head out the door, Serena suddenly had an 'idea' and ran off! Pretty soon she was back with her doll stroller, her little Olivia and two of her sippy cups! She was bound and determined she was going to walk and push her stroller on this walk! I thought surely she would get tired, so I brought my stroller along for her. However, she walked along behind me for over a mile as we wandered the streets of our neighborhood! I'm sure we looked like quite the pair strolling down the sidewalk with our strollers, haha!
Little Mommy
She kept stopping to inspect things like bugs, cracks in the sidewalk, twigs, leaves, yard signs that had blown over (there are signs in about 50% of the yards because of all the contractors replacing roofs destroyed in the big hail storm a few weeks ago), and fences. (Notice all the dings in the fence from the hail storm.)
She still looks like such a baby! She still had her paci from her nap, which contributed to the baby-ish-ness of her look, I'm sure!
Serena is really into saying Hi and Bye now. She says it to cars, dogs, people, roofers (we see lots of them every day on our walks), and birds. And sometimes I have no idea who she's saying it to!
Okay, on to today's video! I apologize because I don't really have any footage of Bret this week! He makes a brief appearance in one of the clips, and that's it! I'll have to make up for that oversight next week!
In the first clip, I have Serena say "Hi Goggee!" It was the day the big dog followed us on our walk. :P In the next clip, she's giving Bret some drink from her sippy. Then I have a bit from the baseball game. The last part is just a tiny clip of us playing catch with her big pink ball. That's it, folks!

Well 'Hi Doggee!' was quite clear to these grandparent's ears!
What ever did happen with that dog?
We cracked up at Serena walking down the sidewalk with her stroller - would love to view that first hand!
