Goin' to Church

Every week, Serena gets more excited about getting dressed up and going to church! She saw me get out her dress this morning and lay it out on our bed. I usually get everything for the kids laid out and then work on getting myself ready. That way, Jordan can help dress Serena & Bret if I start running out of time. Getting to church on time is definitely a team effort, heehee! :) But this morning, when Serena saw me lay out her dress, she rushed over and pulled it down from the bed and brought it to me, begging to have it put on. I told her she'd have to go ask Daddy to do it. She hurried the dress out to him, and then went back for her diaper cover and shoes. Jordan always feeds her excitement by talking about how pretty she is in her dress and how much fun she's going to have at church. This morning, he teased her by putting her diaper cover on and then putting her PJ pants on her head and acting like she was ready for church, haha!

Thinking this is a little weird, but going along with it for Daddy

Okay, now she's getting a little worried that Daddy really is going to make her go to church like this! "How am I going to tell him this isn't the right outfit?"

Yay! Daddy got it right! ;)

She loves the flounces! After this, she and her baby twirled and twirled around the living room!

Bret looked pretty spiffy this morning, too. However, he was kind of a twirp! First, he spit up on my dress right before we were going to walk out the door! :P Then, no sooner did we sit down in our pew at church, than I noticed he had poop soaking through his pants! I took him out to change him and discovered the Blow-Out of the Century!!!

I was trying to get some pictures of him on his tummy tonight, but he kept rolling over before I could snap them! He's so quick!
