Pa & Pookie

We had more great weather today, and the swings were a pretty big hit!

They were so cute in the big tire swing together!

Bret's wide-mouthed smile just wouldn't quit!

 Pa & Grandma came over for supper tonight.  In the past, Serena has always been a little nervous about Pa, but today she discovered a wonderful playmate in him!!  Now all she can talk about it how she's waiting for Pa to come back!

Grandpa swiped Serena's plate while she wasn't looking during supper.  We all got a huge laugh at her expense, because she was SO surprised!  "Where'd Pookie's food go?!" she asked!  We distracted her again, and he returned the plate.  She was equally surprised to find it there again!  It was hilarious!

Oh!  And Serena is 2 1/2 today!  <3

Serena loves "drawing" and was fascinated by Pa's ability to draw pictures

I love how she progressively gets closer to Pa and finally ends up in his lap!

She really loved having him trace her hand!  At one point, she attempted to trace his hand, but since her pen didn't really touch the paper, she was extremely surprised and disappointed when she lifted his hand with a flourish...only to find a blank piece of paper!!!  It was so cute!

Fun times!

Okay, just had to stick this picture in here!  She discovered this new 'face' that she can make!  I hope she doesn't make it a habit!!!  :P
