Old MacDonald's Farm

We get to spend the whole weekend with Grammie and Gram!  This morning, we went to Old MacDonald's Farm in Cedar Rapids and met Julia, Kaden, & Keira there.  The kids had a great time looking at the animals!  Serena seemed to be in disbelief that she was actually at Old MacDonald's Farm.  Like THE Old MacDonald!!!  ;)

We ran across this rooster over by the duck pond. He was even so obliging as to crow a few times for us!

After our time at the 'farm,' we went over to the adjacent playground and ate a picnic lunch and let the kids play and play!  Good times!

Later in the afternoon, (Grammie had to work, boohoo) Grandma & Auntie Anna came over to spend some time with us and eat supper.  Then we all walked over to JaJu's to play in the yard with all their fun riding toys.  The kids had a really good time...particularly Bret, who just got such a kick out of scooting himself around on those toys!  At one point, he managed to get himself going downhill (their drive has a little slant) and the look of delight on his face was priceless!
