Bret Update

Bret is constantly trying out new words.  He’s started saying “Why?” after we say things to him (he loves to copy Serena!).  His other big thing is to bring random items to us (shoes, balls, spoons, toys, etc) and say, “Gah go!” (“there you go!).  He practically worships Jordan.  As soon as he hears me say, “Daddy’s home!” he runs to the door saying, “Daddy!  Daddy!  Daddy!”  And then he’s not happy until Jordan picks him up.  He thinks everything Jordan does is so awesome and funny.  Especially if it has anything to do with balls.  ;)  He’s been cutting molars the last couple weeks, which hasn’t been too fun.  :P  I’m really hoping he finishes them up soon!!  I’m anxious to find out if his naptime troubles are a result of needing to transition to just one nap a day or if it is completely teething-related.  Other than that, he is still so good-natured.  It’s just when he’s supposed to be sleeping that his teeth seem to bother him.  :(
