After Bret's bad experience in the kiddie pool a few days ago, he wasn't exactly excited about my putting him in the water. :P I had to sit with him on my lap in the pool for quite a while (and he wasn't really happy about that at first either), but eventually I coaxed him to stand up and start moving around. Then he found out how fun it is to splash, plus we had a ball for him to chase, so he started having fun! Serena had a great time 'swimming' on all fours (we stayed in the toddler pool), jumping, splashing, and playing with Auntie Anna. She watched the bigger kids going down a little slide (it was only 5 feet long or so) in the bigger pool, and decided she wanted to try that. Grandma took her over there, and Serena climbed right up, took a look down the little tunnel, and decided it wasn't for her! ;) Maybe next time! Later, a little girl in the toddler pool splashed Bret and was reprimanded by her mommy. Serena, standing nearby, said, "You can splash me because I'm a big girl!"

O my goodness! For some reason in these pictures, both of the kids look SO much bigger!!! Pool time is SO fun:)
