Jessica's Wedding

I didn't get many pictures from Jessica's wedding day.  Mostly, I suppose, due to the fact that my hands were usually full of babies; so I decided to rely on others to take and share pictures!  ;)  So, there's tons on Facebook, which is awesome!  But, here's the ones I got!  :)

Me with my little sister!  She was such a pretty bride!

With Mom & Grandma too!  Grandma helped me with Bret while I was getting my hair and make-up done by Julie (my absolute favorite hair-dresser!).  Bret had a great time being spoiled by his Gram for a couple hours!  ;)
While I had Bret at the hotel (while I was getting my hair done, etc), Jordan had Serena back at the church in Granada (we stayed in the Prophet's Chamber there for the weekend).  He put in some serious Daddy/daughter time and brought a happy little girl to me a couple hours later...curlers still intact, fingernails & toenails painted, and tummy full from a good lunch!  :)  He said she kept him pretty busy but was very sweet the whole time!
Me with my little flower girl  <3  She was so pretty!
Serena loved her flower-girl role!  I had prepped her for the last few weeks by telling her bedtime stories about what would happen at Aunt Jessica (or as Serena says it, "Shexca") and Uncle David's wedding.  At the rehearsal, Serena went happily down the aisle, carrying her basket ("spacket") and pretending to throw flowers on the runner.  At the actual wedding, she did not seem too concerned by the sudden influx of spectators (I had prepped her that there would be lots of 'friends' there watching!), except that she forgot to throw the flowers!  Keira forgot too, so there were two full baskets of flower petals at the front of the church, and no flowers on the runners, heehee!  ;)  They looked adorable, though, and all three of the kids (Kaden was ringbearer) did an awesome job!  They were really good during the ceremony, too.  Serena sat with Gram and played with one of her "church bags" which I had prepared for her in advance, and even shared it with Kaden & Keira when they wanted to play too!  They all stayed nice and quiet.  I was so happy!!

My little Bretster!  By the end of the night, he was very suspicious of anyone who appeared too friendly...he was worried they were going to take him away from me!  So, he got to eat dinner in my lap up at the head table!  ;)
After the cake was cut (it was all fake except the top layer), they served up squares of sheet cake for all the guests.  When Serena saw people walking around with cake on their plates, she came running up to me (I was keeping Bret entertained off to the side) and said, "Mommy!  Can I have some bread with sour cream, please?" ever-so-sweetly!  Poor kid didn't recognize cake!  I'm not really sure she's ever had any before...besides cupcakes at her and Bret's birthdays!!  So, she greatly enjoyed a piece of "bread with sour cream" and "a pretty flower on top"!  ;)
Serena was a little shy about dancing at first, but after seeing Aunt Julie ("Shooey" - I love it!) dance with Keira (who is completely uninhibited on the dance floor, heehee!), she sweetly asked Julie to dance with her.

After her initial dance with Aunt Julie, Serena danced the rest of the night away.  Mostly hopping, skipping, and bouncing around.  She loved it whenever anyone would dance with her and tried to copy their movements.  Now and then Kaden would come out and dance for a minute or two.  Then he'd leave, and Serena would run after him and beg him to come back and dance with her!  It was adorable!

Having fun at the reception
