The first bit of the second video is from Bret's birthday. The rest is from today. After breakfast this morning, I went into the bedroom to check on Bret, who was still sleeping in his crib next to our bed. Serena followed me in and wanted to get up on the bed. I lifted her up, and she crawled over to my spot where my pillows were up against the wall from when I'd been sitting there nursing Bret earlier. She sat there and leaned up against the pillows as if trying out Mommy's spot for size! Then, she reached out her arms to Bret and opened and closed her hands, asking to hold him! It was the first time she's asked to hold him. She was so sweet with him! She asked again several times throughout the day, and we caught some on camera.

it is SO fun to see them together:) i LOVE serena's coos and 'comments' about them! it reminds me of how kaden was with serena! remember?
I thought the same thing about Kaden & Serena, Julie! Which is interesting, because Kaden was the same age Serena is now when Serena was born!
