AT LEAST Thirty-Second Thursday

I love this week's videos!!! There's some really fun clips in them!

Today when I was holding and burping Bret over my shoulder, Serena came over to give me a hug (she randomly does that sometimes) and while she was hugging me, she patted Bret's back too! She would pat it and then rub it so tenderly! It seems like she's starting to understand that he's not just a doll but that she has to be gentle with him so she doesn't hurt him. Later, when she wanted to hold him, I started to hand him over to her but then she suddenly said "No" and got that concerned look on her face that she gets when she knows I don't understand her request. She then pointed earnestly at the burp rag on my shoulder and then put her hand on her own shoulder! I situated the burp rag on her shoulder and then she gladly took Bret in her arms and rocked him. :)

Another funny little anecdote before I get to the videos: We all went out in the back yard when Jordan got home from work. When we turned to come back into the house, Jordan noticed that there was a moth on the door frame, so he brought Serena over to show it to her. As he pointed out the moth, he asked her if she would like to pet it. Serena reached out her pointer finger and before Jordan could intervene, she pressed her finger right on top of the moth and squished it! Hahaha! So much for that little nature lesson! ;)

Okay, Video #1: This is an all-Serena video. The first clip is her waving at Aunt Julie & I while she was riding the carousel. The second clip is her saying 'Hi' to Bret through the pack-n-play. In the third clip, she's giving her baby a bath. The last clip is of Serena being chased by Grammie (you'll get a laugh, I promise!).
