AT LEAST Thirty-Second Thursday

Sorry, it's a marathon of a video this week! Took me forever to edit it down, and it's still about 5 minutes long. :P I'm honestly amazed that my internet managed to upload the whole thing to the blog in only 2 attempts! ;)

This week, Serena has taken her 'mothering' to a whole new level. She nurses her baby and carries her around almost all the time. When I put Bret in the bouncy seat, she spends the time gathering up her 'babies' (doll and stuffed animals) one by one and situating them in the bouncy seat with him. When we're going someplace, Serena will grab a couple babies (whichever ones are the handiest at the moment) and put them in the carseat with Bret. She also puts my sling on and then walks around carrying her baby (she hasn't figured out how to put the baby in the sling yet, so she just carries the baby while wearing the sling at the same time). She would love to try to put on the Moby wrap, but I don't let her play with it since it needs to be folded in half in order to be usable and I don't want to have to redo that every time I use it! ;)

So, this video has a lot of Serena nursing and playing with her baby. She also knows how to show me that she's one now when I ask her how old she is. :) There's some footage of Bret (I didn't take the time to break them down into two videos this time). And there's some footage of Serena going down the big twisty slide at the park all by herself.
