Cold & Rainy Day

It was COLD and rainy here today. :P This means the windows and the back door were all kept shut all day long. Poor Serena was pretty disappointed this morning when she found out she wasn't going to be able to go outside and play and visit the birds! :( She got over it quickly, though, when we got busy playing. By the time the day was over, she had dumped out her tea party and her big set of wooden blocks right in the middle of the walkway. She also got out nearly every toy she has. Most of them went into the dog kennel, though! ;)

One thing I will say that's been nice about this dreary weather: Serena slept in till after 8:30 yesterday and today. She also took 3 1/2 hour naps both days! Sure makes for a quiet afternoon! I fed Bret, made a pie, cleaned up the kitchen, fed Bret, paid bills, got the laundry done, and (did I mention?) fed Bret! ;)

Serena was pretty happy with the little tower she built...

...but she got really excited when the tower fell over!

So, I think I need to use better lighting with this old camera or something. Once again, all my pics of Bret tonight turned out blurry. :P SUCH a poo, since I think this one is SO cute!
