DIARRHEA!

This is a blog about babies, so I can title a post "DIARRHEA!" and get away with it, right? I mean, poop is a big part of the life of a baby, so you cannot possibly expect to read this blog andnot read about poop occasionally! ;)

So, yeah, Serena started diarrhea last night at the game and was up several times overnight with it. As a result, she developed a horrible rash. Not a very good night for sleeping. I kind of dreaded today, but it didn't go too badly. I got some Pedialyte for Serena and put her on the BRATY diet. She was very cooperative, thankfully. Turns out, she LOVES plain rice, hahaha! She's been weird about eating bananas lately, so I mashed them up and hid them in her oatmeal and plain yogurt, and she ate them just fine. Also got 3/4 of an apple down her and quite a bit of water. She didn't seem to care for the Pedialyte too much. I wonder if it just tasted too sweet to her, since she's never had juice before? Anyway, I chilled it and plan to water it down tomorrow and see if that helps.

Serena likes to wear my sling to carry her baby when I'm not using it. I know, you're shocked! ;)

After another dirty diaper in the afternoon, Serena was pretty sad. So, I thought to myself, What did my Mom do for us when we were sick as little kids? Get us all comfy and turn on a movie, of course!!! So, Serena watched cartoons this afternoon. I felt so American! ;)

She did look so sweet all comfy and sucking on her paci while she watched cartoons! The last time I sat her down in front of cartoons was back in December, so you can imagine how exciting it was to her. Whenever a character would be shown leaving the scene, she would say, "BYE!!!!!" Hahaha!
