Beginning Again

Well, I'm officially doing the Daily again! :) I'm not too optimistic about the affect the holiday weekend will have on it, but rest assured I will catch it up again if it falls behind this weekend! To get filled in on our lives during the Month of Silence, head on over to our family blog!

I love doing these side-by-side shots! Serena seems to have gotten so much taller lately. Tanner, too! ;)

Serena likes to copy everything I do to Bret...kisses, tickles, silly noises...in this case, blowing raspberries. Bret thinks it's funny too!

In my tiny new kitchen, pretty much everything is out in the open. I was worried that it would present a constant temptation for Serena, but she's actually left it mostly alone. I guess she's old enough to know she's not supposed to play with that stuff! She does like to open the little roll-top desk of my Grandma's which is currently housing our bread. It used to be in her room in our last two houses. And she also discovered that I have all her cups, sippies, silverware, and containers in the bottom drawer on the left of the island. She loves to get in there and hunt for sippies and their matching lids. Or pull out a little cup for O's. Sometimes it's hard to tell if she's more excited about having O's or getting out a new cup from her drawer!
