Pookie Work!!!

Serena, ahem, Pookie ;) loves to go do work with Daddy.  In her mind "work" is synonymous with "tractor ride" and "four-wheeler ride."  Today, Jordan was about to go out to work and he told Serena goodbye.  She hugged him and then stood there watching him put on his boots.  All of a sudden, she became very upset, grabbing her boots and trying to put them on while she sobbed, "Pookie work!  Pookie work!!!!"  

Tonight, while I was rocking her and reading her bedtime stories, Serena wriggled her little arm behind my back and looked up to me with her sleepy eyes and said, "Pookie hold-ah Mommy."  And then I died. ;)

I gave the babies a shower today.  Serena still hates the shower, but if I say I'm going to give Bret a shower, she says, "Pookie show-ah!?" and runs to join us.  I also have started letting her give her baby a shower at the same time.  It keeps her distracted from the fact that I'm washing her hair.  By the time we were done, Bret's tub was filled to the brim.  I let the two of them splash for a few minutes and they had SO much fun!  They emptied that tub in no time!
