The poor lil' Bretster ran a low-grade temperature most of the day yesterday. As a result, I ended up staying home with him while Jordan and Serena went to a New Years' Eve party at the Farmington church. Serena was oh-so-excited to go to "a big tea party!" with Daddy, heehee! ;) This morning, Bret slept in till 9-something, which gave me the opportunity to snap this picture. Usually he's up by 7.
Bret spent most of the day being held, worn, and cuddled. He took a decent nap in the afternoon, but had a horrible time sleeping other than that. Finally got him down for the night around 9. Serena has never had a high fever or anything like this, so this was my first time of having a cuddly sick baby. Although I felt so badly for him, and it did make it difficult to get much done; I actually kind of enjoyed the fact that I could just sit on the couch with him draped on my body. It was sweet. <3
