The Champion Returns!

This weekend, Daddy took Rocky to a hunt test down by Austin. We all missed him so much and everyone was VERY happy to have him home again! AND Rocky passed with flying colors, so we were all very proud of him!!

I feel like it bears mentioning that I took both kids to church this morning and only walked in a couple minutes late! :) It was quite a feat to get them (and myself) ready all by myself this morning! I was a little concerned about how it would go dropping Serena off at nursery, since she's used to Jordan doing it now and I wouldn't be able to hold her since I'd be holding Bret. Well, God worked it out that an older couple arrived at church right after me and parked next to me. The lady offered to help me, so I had her hold Bret while I got Serena taken care of. We reached another milestone today, folks! Serena actually WALKED into nursery BY HERSELF (i.e., I didn't have to hold her and hand her off to a worker who was willing to hold her). She walked straight over to the pile of toys and got busy! I could hardly believe it! What a big girl she's getting to be! :) I was so happy to see her do that! Oh, one other thing. I had asked her to carry her diaper pouch for me, since my hands were full and I wanted to be sure that the nursery workers would have an extra diaper for her (since she's been making it a habit for the last several weeks to poop at nursery. Don't you wish you were her lucky nursery worker?!?). Before she went through the nursery door, she looked up at me and tried to hand the pouch to me. I said, "No honey, you can bring that in with you!" But, she motioned all the more earnestly for me to take it, so I did since I could see that it was very important to her (and I did have a hand free since the lady was holding Bret). Apparently, it's not cool to carry your own diapers into nursery, haha! ;)

A kiss for Daddy

We were trying to get a picture of Jordan & Rocky with the ribbons, but Serena was pretty sure she needed to be in it too! After all, she has had a BIG part in Rocky's training. Right? ;)
