Unfortunately, Serena became more sick as the day wore on. She woke up from her nap yesterday with a very noisy chest. Today, it is still very noisy and when she coughs (which she seems to try to avoid doing), it appears to hurt. I took her temp later this afternoon and she was running a very low-grade temp. Poor little girl just seems to be feeling pretty miserable! She is usually not a cry-baby at all, but today she definitely has been! She would just be going along playing like normal and all of a sudden start crying...for no apparent reason! Also, her appetite is WAY down. It's really strange since she's always been our little piggie. She barely finished her breakfast. Throughout the day, I tried offering her some of her favorites in hopes of getting some food in her (string cheese, sweet potato with cottage cheese, grapes, and yogurt). I had to keep pushing the cheese to get her to finish it. The sweet potato she only ate a couple bites of. She had about half of what she normally would of the grapes and yogurt, and then told me she was all done (usually, I'm the one who tells her she's 'all done' with those foods!). She only had a few bites of supper, too. I was glad Jordan was home today so we that between the two of us we could give Serena lots of cuddles! We're not planning on going to church tomorrow since Serena's running a temp and in such bad shape tonight. That's a bummer especially since tomorrow's Easter. :( Depending on her mood, maybe I'll dress her up for a photo shoot tomorrow, heehee! She does have a pretty dress and hat to wear! Here's hoping that we'll see a big improvement tomorrow!
I did get to take the kids for a walk this morning and we spent some time at the playground, so that was fun. Also, we took a little drive to go pick up the new (to us) car we bought to replace the Camry (which was totaled in the hail storm a couple weeks ago). Serena enjoyed playing in the car for a while this afternoon while Jordan installed a new seat cover and removed some stickers. :)

Serena has a pretty bad skinned knee (she fell on it badly enough to draw blood three times in the last two days), so she was careful not to let her tender knee rub the slide!

About to go down!

Trying it out the big-girl way

This is pretty neat!
