Well, the Pink & Blue Daily is in trouble, my friends! At least, for a while. My camera is apparently going kaput after 4 1/2 years and hundreds of thousands of pictures! Last night, after I took the picture of Bret in the laundry basket, I set the camera down on the counter and went to put Serena to bed. When I came back out, I tried taking another picture of Bret in the basket because he had changed his position slightly so that one of his arms was above his head. I thought it might turn out to be a cuter pose than the one I had already gotten, so I took the picture. But, it had weird lighting and grainy lines going through it. I thought it was strange, but just figured something must have been goofy with the settings or the card or whatever. After reformatting the card and doing everything I can think of to the camera, it's not getting any better. Now and then I can get a picture that isn't too bad (i.e., in the one of Bret below, the lines aren't too noticeable), but they're definitely not as good as they used to be! :( I can't imagine what made the camera suddenly decide to do this!! So, I'm going to try to take pictures with my phone until I get a new camera. It's A LOT harder to get a decent pic with my phone, but I'll try. In the meantime, I'll be in the market for a new camera and soliciting donations for my camera fund (just kidding!). But, if any of you have any recommendations for cameras, I'm all ears! Thankfully, the video option on this camera is still fine, so I'll be able to keep recording videos like normal.
Baby Bret
This morning we were out of the house by 9:30 (I know, it's pretty impressive!) to hit some garage sales! I was really happy with our luck! I found several items for Serena, including a few pairs of jammies! I also found a little toddler-sized lawn chair! :) Serena is quickly outgrowing her 18-month clothes. At 20 months, she was 24 pounds (30th percentile) and 31 inches (10th percentile). Most of her 18-month clothes fit her fine, but I can barely squeeze her into her footie pajamas. And she only has one pair of pajamas that is not footie. So, it was WONDERFUL that I found some pajamas today!!! I actually prayed about it a few times this week and again this morning, so praise God! I've been hunting Craigslist like crazy and was starting to worry that I was never going to find her any used and I REALLY didn't want to have to spend $7-$12/pair for new ones!

Pretty worn out from all her garage sale-ing

Bathtime! And boy, did she need it!! :P It's been HOT the last couple days, and she's been playing in the dirt a lot too! By the way, she's getting really good at pouring water from one container to another! It's really amazing to me to see how her coordination continues to get better and more refined. God's creation is incredible!

Feeling refreshed after a nap and a bath! Sitting in her 'new' chair and enjoying some 'O's'!
