We finally put the side on Bret's crib tonight! Up till now, his crib has been up against our bed, so only enclosed on 3 sides. We still have the crib in our room, only a couple feet from my side of the bed, actually, so he did pretty well. It took him a while to fall asleep, but once he did, he was able to settle back down easily whenever he woke up throughout the night. I'm planning to transition him into Serena's room before Baby arrives, so figured the first step was getting him used to sleeping in his own bed! ;) I missed him in my bed, but my growing tummy reassures me it won't be long before another baby is sharing our bed! <3 And, Serena is so excited that Bret is going to move into her room soon; I'm actually kind of excited about it myself! I hope it goes well!
With all the nice weather, I decided to break out the kids' summer clothes and take inventory of what we have/need. I had Serena try on all her stuff from last summer because she doesn't have much of the next size up yet, so I need her to wear the smaller things a little longer if she can! She had SO MUCH FUN trying on each outfit! She showed EVERYTHING to Jordan. After the second outfit, I told her she probably didn't need to show them all to him, but Jordan called from the other room (he was studying at the time), "I don't mind! She can show me them!" It was so cute how she ran out to him to get his comments on each article of clothing! She's such a girl! I just love it!
Bret's been trying to take a step here and there. Still not 'taking off' with his walking, but he's really good at standing in the middle of the floor!
