Go to Kurch

Serena just loves church (or "kurch")!  She loves getting all dressed up, she loves Pastor Gary and Ms Gina, she loves her little friends and her nursery "class"!  

Last night, after I gave her a bath, I put a bunch of little braids in Serena's hair! She was all excited about it, and I told her how it would look SO pretty in the morning.  Then, as I was tucking her into bed, she suddenly sat up and said, "Oh!  I no sleep with these!!!" (referring to the braids!)  After all that work, there was no way I was going to take all those braids out if I could possibly avoid it!  ;)  I tried to convince her with promises of how pretty it would look, and how she wouldn't even feel them while she slept, etc, but she just wasn't going for it!  Finally, I compromised with her to at least try it, and if she couldn't sleep, I would come and take them out.  Thankfully, she fell right to sleep!!!  Phew!  ;)

This morning, Serena was eating breakfast in just her undies when Jordan came into the kitchen.  He saw her sitting there in her braids and said, "Serena, you look like a little black girl!"  She thought for a moment, then said, "No!  I wear white undies!!"  ????  Haha!
