Ultrasound!

I brought Serena & Bret to my ultrasound today.  Jordan had to work again (bummer!), but the kids did great once again!  I held Bret while I laid on the table, and I had Serena sit in a nearby chair.  She was very interested in the baby on the screen!  She had seen ultrasound pictures in the book we got at the library, so I think she was familiar enough with them to recognize the baby parts as we pointed them out to her!  Afterward, we saw our doctor in the hallway, and he helped Serena get a drink from the water fountain.  This made a huge impression on her, and she talked to me about it again later.  She also told Daddy when he got home, and told Grammie on the phone!  "Doctor lift me up and I get grink!" All these baby appointments are making Serena think about the baby a lot more.  That, and my growing tummy!  ;)  She often checks with me to make sure the baby is in my tummy, and now we've started talking about how it's going to come out sometime.  She is very excited for the baby to come out and she's going to say, "Hi baby!" with a wave!  ;)  I'm loving it!
