Busy Busy Day

Today was such a busy, fun day!  Daddy got Serena up early this morning to take her to work with him!  He had some projects to work on at camp.  Serena bombarded him with "why?'s" and requests to go to the bathroom the whole time!  ;)  Not sure she was much help, but she definitely made it a memorable morning at work for Daddy!

While Serena was gone working, Bret had the run of the place!  He figured out how to climb up on the 4-wheeler all by himself, and he was one HAPPY dude...until he figured out he didn't know how to get back down!  ;)

Worn out from all that working!

 After naps, we took the kids to the park and got some ice cream at the malt shop across the street.  Serena loves sharing her ice cream with Bret almost as much as she loves eating it herself, so we just buy them one $.25 cup of ice cream (Yes, there are places in the US that still sell ice cream that cheap!  And it's a generous serving, too!) and let them at it!

It was such a fun day, and we were all so hot and tired by the time we got home!  I threw the kids in the bathtub and then it was off to bed!  Which, by the way, bedtime is still going amazingly well!  The kids have been sharing a room for about a month, and they both love it.  Bret sleeps through the night a couple times a week (woohoo!), and his other wake-ups are always brief and few.  Unless he's overtired.  Then they're brief and often.  :P
