We spent most of today at home playing with the kids. Uncle Luke flew in last night, so Serena had fun playing with him! Julie is addicted to a game on her iPhone called the Moron Test, and she got everyone playing it this afternoon! This evening, Jordan, Luke, Bret, and I went to a party that our small group at church had. Mom & Julie had babysitting duty with Serena! Mom even put Serena to bed and she claims that Serena did really well for her! ;)
Luke was coerced into playing the Moron Test
Jordan tried his hand at the test on Julie's phone
Serena became at least as addicted as Julie is! Now whenever she sees Julie's phone lying around, she thinks Julie needs to turn it on and play the Moron Test with her! Serena thinks Aunt Julie is cool because she lets Serena touch the screen and play the game herself (with a little guidance)!
Serena holds Bret several times a day! We're still working on saying "All done" rather than just shoving him off when she's done holding him! But, on the upside, she's learning to wrap her arms around him when she holds him!
A baby holding a baby! There's not much in this world that is cuter than that!
Bret being held by Aunt Julie

Sleepy Bret! Gotta love these newborn days!

Daddy & Uncle Luke left their Cribbage game unattended and their chairs pushed out when they went to take the dogs to the park. Serena, who never misses an opportunity to climb up on a chair when she finds them pushed out from the table, waited for a moment when no one was really paying attention to her and then climbed up! She found the cards that she had seen Daddy & Uncle Luke playing with conveniently within reach. She began picking them up one or two at a time, examining them carefully, and then placing them in different groups around the table in front of her. It really seemed like she was sorting them with purpose! I'm afraid she'll be a card shark by the time she's 3! ;)
