BUMBO!

I pulled the Bumbo seat out today! Bret seemed to really enjoy it for about 10 minutes...then he got tired and fell asleep in it, haha!

Serena was very interested in the Bumbo seat. When I first brought it out and put Bret in it, she was a little upset because she wanted to play with it. I had to explain to her that it was Bret's chair; just like Serena has her own chair. She accepted the explanation and immediately wanted me to put her in 'her chair.' ;) Later, when I had taken the sleepy boy out of the Bumbo, I put it on the floor so Serena could play with it. She still fits in it pretty nicely, and can even get herself out of it without any help!

I've been slowly going through Serena's clothes for the last few days, so today was the first day that I left her bedroom door open since the storm blew out her window a week ago. Serena had a lot of fun taking her 'babies' (which could be dolls or stuffed animals) into her room and putting them in the crib one by one. Then she would come back out and find me and do the "go sleepy" sign to tell me that they had gone sleepy! I think this is because sometimes I put Bret down to sleep in her crib (since I can listen to him on the monitor then), and then I'll close the door to her room and tell her that Bret went sleepy. Heehee!
